2025 Golden Harvest 

The 2025 harvest  – a slightly earlier harvest then normally and a harvest to remember with sun and grapes shining.

This year, nature bestowed upon us grapes of exceptional balance and character — a testament to the land we cherish. Yet, it is not only the fruit that makes a vintage remarkable. It is the hands, hearts, and dedication of our vineyard family. To our extraordinary crew — from the dawn-light pickers to the cellar artisans — we offer our deepest gratitude. Your skill, perseverance, and love for the craft transform every harvest and vintage  into something great each year.  There will be a surprise to what we will do with our grapes this year, we thought with a year like this, the best we had since we started 10 years ago we need to do something special.

From crisp still wines to lively sparkling varieties, every sip was a discovery. The team was amazed by the range and quality of wines on offer, and it was such a joy to learn more about the craft behind them.

Smilla our Vineyard Queen

This month, we shine a spotlight on our very own Vineyard Queen, Smilla. Always on patrol with @busijacobsohn, she’s a familiar sight weaving through the rows of vines, keeping the vineyard lively and under her watchful eye.

As harvest approaches, Smilla takes her royal duties to heart. Pheasants dart and swoop through the vines, and she gives chase with the energy and grace of a true queen defending her kingdom. Each fluttering bird seems to spark a beam across her face—pride, joy, and pure vineyard delight all rolled into one.

The pheasants fly, Smilla glows, and we all cheer silently from the vines: job well done, Your Majesty!
